Mint working with the youngsters of Belper
Mint Driving School went to Belper’s Drop Inn youth centre and got the youngsters behind the wheel teaching them about road safety and basic car control techniques.
Eight students from Belper High School came to the Drop Inn and had fun being taught by two remarkable instructors from Mint Driving School
The project gave the group, all aged 16, a chance to have a go at driving and learn about some of the safety measures needed to take to the roads before they get their provisional licence.
The police and the fire service were also involved working with Mint Driving School in presenting the project.
Drop Inn founder Andrea Fox said: “This is the first time we have run anything like this and we are hoping to use it as regular training sessions.“
Here at Mint Driving School we are proud of working with the Drop Inn and look forward to more training sessions.
