Mint is a fresh, exciting and energetic driving school – we’re as excited about teaching as you are about learning. Driving is a skill that you’ll enjoy for the rest of your life, and that’s why we enjoy teaching you. We’re passionate about giving learners the ability and confidence to get out there on the open roads.
Mint was founded in 2006 by its Principal, Jonathan Hodgkinson, a member of the Driving Instructors Association, and a professional Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). All of our instructors are registered with the Department of Transport (Driving Standards Agency) and are licensed to give driving tuition. It’s not just our students who take tests - every instructor at Mint has passed comprehensive tests and is regularly re-assessed to make sure they meet the DSA’s very high standards. And we wouldn’t have it any other way – we want you to enjoy learning, but we’re also serious about teaching you in the safest and most professional way. All of our cars are geared for safety too – they’re clean, modern, maintained to the highest standards, fitted with dual controls, and fully insured for you to drive.
